It may be the height of British summertime, but all the premature browns and golds around (thank you, heatwave) have got me thinking about autumn. Whilst I’m all for hot, sunny weather when on holiday, I have to admit that it’s not something I enjoy on prolonged stretches. Like many typical Brits, I’m forever longing for different weather and as a result, I can’t wait for autumn. Specifically when I think about all the new season bags I can buy.
However, in my very humble opinion, tan is a timeless autumnal colour, suiting the transitional period between the last golden days of summer and those first burgeoning days of autumn.
Being super prepared as I always am for these things – no laughter please – I have already started scoping out some great bags for autumn that I want to add to my collection. Below I have put together my favourites from aspirational high-end to realistic high-street bags. There’s even one lucky find form Primark that looks eerily like a Chloé from afar…
Don’t cha wish your bag was hot like these?
Some more affordable, but no less loveable, options.
High-end vs High-street
The catwalk at Chloé showcased some beautiful new season bags, including a few tan numbers. Rings were a prevalent trend in Chloé’s bags, so it’s unsurprising that high-street brand bags are also featuring them.
Below is a particular Chloé bag that caught my eye a little while ago. I can’t afford it – at least, not without selling my car to fund the purchase – so I literally jumped for joy when I found something similar in both Topshop and Primark. Just goes to show that style doesn’t have to cost more than one’s mortgage.
